It began with an idle idea born of IRC, continued when I decided to build an evening around it, and really got rolling when y'all sent me some fine fine music. The food worked out well, (thanks for the advice on flavors, you who spoke), ; the wine was really good! (thanks for the knowledge and suggestions), and the people had a good time. The simple tapas menu grew exponentially as folks arrived with an entire roast tenderloin of pork, pastries from a Portuguese bakery, more cheese and olives, and even chocolate chip cookies! What a lovely evening.

This place is such a font of information and creativity. This would have been such a different birthday without your contributions. Yay! And the best part? I got to feel like y'all were there in spirit.
