hope me MeChas! (costume ideas?)
okay, so... I dug myself into this, looks like I'm not gonna be able to weasel out. awhile back I lost a bet. I'll spare you innocent bunnies the sordid (and mainly irrelevant) details in order to skip to the gist:

I need a naughty schoolgirl outfit for tomorrow night's Denver Cruise. no, I said *really*, just don't ask→[More:]

I already have a pleated black miniskirt, which I anticipate will be adventuresome on the fixed gear, tho I'll wear swimsuit bottoms under it to keep things from getting too risque. I can probably find white knee socks. so... that leads us to...?

what on earth do I wear on top? White blouse? some sort of tie? a dickie? I'm clueless.

the 'theme' for tomorrow's DC happens to be Goth/Punk/Fetish, so I'll go out on a limb to say the sluttier, the better.

catholic school survivors, feel free to chime in at any point. everyone else, feel free to make fun of me.

Wear a white shirt, but tie it in the front under your boobs so your belly is exposed. Only do up like 1 button on it.

I think the standard "naughty schoolgirl" top is a white button-up shirt with the bottom tied in a knot rather than buttoned, Daisy Duke-style, in order to show off the breasty area.

Make sure you wear a black push-up bra under the white tied-up shirt. Wear your skirt as short as you dare.

White knee socks. Black strappy fuck-me shoes.

Draw freckles across your nose and cheeks with eyebrow pencil.

Maybe some fake braids (made out of wool and stiffened slightly with a bit of wire so they curl up at the end).

Red lipstick.

And a lollipop. A big one.

yea the 'more inside' placard would be too hilarious, esp. as an inside joke, but there's already momentum and baggage behind the whole Naughty Schoolgirl deal.

ok essexjan and gaspode, done and done. I happen to have both a black push-up bra and a white button down shirt tho it would help matters considerably if I had anything TO 'push up' but there's no use crying over spilt milk

cigarettes... hm. good point. this is Boulder you know. neither I, nor anyone I know smokes... well at least not cigarettes, anyways. and I dont recall seeing a Zippo lighter since my dad left town when I was six.

I'd love to do the black maryjanes essexjan, however fixed gear bicycles and maryjanes do not play at all well together. I don't have a cruiser available to borrow, so I'm afraid I have to stick with my Sidi mountainbike shoes. they do rather resemble Keds. at least sort of. and they *are* Italian (and expensive to boot).

Or you could go for the down-under version of the tarty schoolgirl - Kylie Mole, if you can get hold of a suitable school uniform. Probably nobody will get the reference, though.

Otherwise, add some black stockings (with holes, of course) and a big wad of chewing gum to the above and you're good to go.
