Is that the actual song from the movie? I know I don't follow current mainstream pop, but it seems so manufactured. I liked the x-ray snakes part, though.
for the home audience: it's an exceedingly mediocre rock n roll video of some band, "Cobra Starship" apparently, singing what appears to be a song from the motion picture soundtrack of the incredibly overhyped upcoming movie, "snakes on a plane". it's 03:19 in duration, but i had to close the shit at about 20 seconds due to extreme apathy. SUCK IT HATERS
I'm interested in how the good folks of the internet, who usually decry viral marketing as cheap or underhanded, have fallen for the Snakes campaign hook, line, and sinker.
There's a sucker born every minute, and Snakes is churning out suckers like a Naga queen.
Seeing "x on a plane!@!1 roolfomg" all over the internet is like being stranded after the bars close with that one guy who doesn't understand that his incessant pop culture references, used to hide his anemic personality, quickly go from funny-ha-ha to oh-god-shut-up-nauseating when he repeats them every few minutes. Sadly, unlike with that guy, you can't throw a beer bottle at the internet :(

The band itself is manufactured. Someone from The Sounds (the girl), someone from Midtown and other bands I don't recall. I just think it's hilarious. Okay and I like the girl. But mostly I think it's hilarious. Even the bandname is comedy gold.
Oh, I'm not denigrating the people who intend to see it (or even enjoy it). It just feels like "all your x are belong to y" all over again and that horse sure got beaten into the ground in a hurry.
