ShavedHeadFilter - Should I or shouldn't I? Photo of me for shape-of-head references. Soliciting bunny opinions, should I go for the clippsers or leave shaggy enough alone?

One man's opinion: No, your head is a little long, the chromedome look works best on dudes with squat round heads. I would recommend combing it back, rockabilly style, which would look good on you.

Until you shave your head, you never know for sure whether you'll look good with a shaven head. I found out too late that I have a very dent-y skull.

Fortunately, hair grows back.

Or at least it did when I was 20.

Perhaps try it really, really short first. You have nice eyes, so you want to draw attention to those. Have you considered a goatee? (shaved head + goatee is my favorite look). If you like it, then consider going bald. If not, it grows back.

I think with your cool eyes, you'd look good with a shaved head.

yes. yes, shave head. shaving head is great. i do it roughly twice a year when i get really pissed off at whatever, then the rest of the time i grow out genius hair, -- genius hair, where you sit in the front row and no one can see over yr. einstenifro. right now also i have beard: this is maybe "meh."

right now also i think someone left a bottle of MEK open in the fume hood, because the lab smells vaguely like caramel.

Everyone told me no. I shaved it anyway and now everyone says they like it. I agree with redvixen, getting a very short buzz gives you a good idea of what it'll be like.

fwiw, I loooooove having no hair. So much easier.

Echoing agropyron: Hairdresser refused to shave my hair because he said I'd look stupid. I did it anyway. I looked fine.

*sidenote* Anything below a grade 3 makes me look awful. I need a bit of hair. You should give it a go with a grade 4-6 to start with and reduce / leave depending on your own thoughts / other peoples opinions.

God, I would love to have this choice.

Be warned, a shaved head and goatee (or any facial hair) can make it look like your head is on upside-down.
