Flying eggs Any bunnies know some good places to get breakfast near O'Hare Airport? Small, indie cafe type thing preferred...

[More:]So I'd ask this to AskMe but I used up my question for the week (months with no questions and now two in a week...)

I have a friend coming into town with a 4-hour layover; I'd like to meet him for breakfast (he will be leaving and re-entering the security zone). Are there any good cute places for an early (7a) breakfast near the airport? I'll be driving so we can go non-L places but I don't want to go too far out from the airport so I can get him back in time. Help?
is "leaving and re-entering the security zone" a new euphemism? It should be.

Landing gear up/down.

Tray tables locked and upright.

Baggage securely stowed.

Oooh, more!

My family and I recently had breakfast at the Blind Faith Cafe in Evanston before heading to O'Hare, and I think it was about a half-hour drive to the airport. But you should probably check that with someone who actually lives in the area!

If Evanston is within reasonable driving distance, though, there are a lot of cute-looking places there in addition to Blind Faith. And I'm not sure if Blind Faith opens that early.

The Blind Faith Cafe is great (can be pricey thoo) and I don't think it's that close to Ohare really...

anyhow this is the Reader's listing of places near (within 3 miles) of Ohare..maybe there is something good there!
