Weekend! Tell me your weekend plans. What fun things are bunnies up to?→[More:]Me: tonight, meeting me3dia and cinnamon, then later meeting a friend who is in town for a baseball game. Tomorrow, running and shopping for my MIL's 60th birthday present (gah! I suck at tasteful gifts!). Sunday, playing bridge all afternoon while my better half works. Awesome. You?

I'm flying to Florida tomorrow morning for a Monday night wedding. My flight is at 7:20 a.m., and Delta e-mailed suggesting everyone arrive at the airport *3 hours* before their flight. Eeeeeee.

Once I'm in FL, it's swimming, bachlorette party, shopping, rehearsal dinner, wedding, hopefully some time with my parents.

Pi's going camping with some friends, one of whom I've never met before. I've been corresponding with a woman from Boston, who looked up people on match with similar interests last fall, to prepare for moving to Portland. We've been friends since, and she just got to town monday, so this will be her first camping trip in Oregon.

I have happy hour with co-workers tonight and then Moroccan food with classmates. The Moroccan food should be awesome, I'm looking forward to it. I am giving away my bed and that should get picked up Saturday or Monday. Hopefully I will get work done this weekend, too. No rest for the wicked!

CSLSR conference tomorrow. Sunday is skiving off the rest of the conference to do labwork. Somewhere in there I have to get groceries and solder a butterfly suncatcher I'm working on.

I've got three pages of words to translate and a book to read. But I just know that I'll also be caught up in numerous small things that need to be done -- like cleaning my room.

Friday night: Pizza at my surrogate brother's music studio. Big jam every Friday night.

Saturday: Spa day - Manicure, pedicure, facial, bikini wax. MAY go shopping at Ross and check the Salvation Army thrift store for neat things. Laundry, dishes, general house cleaning, grocery shopping/cat food run.

Sunday: Take peaches off the tree, as they are over-ripe. Lay out by the pool, float on the raft, hang with my cats.

Who knows what else... I know who knows...

I just had a friend over for dinner - roast lamb with garlic & rosemary, rice, roasted vegetables, then fresh berries & Greek yoghurt. Friday nights I often go to an AA meeting, but I'm tired tonight, I've had a busy week and need to sleep.

Tomorrow - bra shopping. I might go to North Weald Market if it isn't raining. Otherwise I'll head for Harlow, which is the nearest place with a Marks & Spencer.

Sunday - maybe watch the Charity Shield game on TV, although I don't really care who wins it, as long as it's not Chelsea or Liverpool. Get ready for the week ahead.

Ooo, bra shopping, woo woo. I called Intimacy to see if they had the $117 Wonder in black, so I could wear it to the wedding, but they didn't. Wearing a white bra under a black dress isn't THAT tacky, right? Don't answer that.

Friday: pick up Hunter, chill out, eat some nummy nummy shrimp. I'm good at shrimp. Come over - there's plenty.

Saturday: next to nothing. Hang out, play games, eat junk food. We need to rest up for...

Sunday: Busch Gardens! It's going to be low 80s and sunny and just a perfect day. Hunter has been counting down the days. "How many more naps, daddy?" Heh.

There will be other various activities interspersed during Hunter's sleeping hours. Poker, IRC, et cetera.

... too bad the HB is my roommate. we're taking the mountain bikes up to the Colorado trail to camp out and ride insanely awesome singletrack all weekend long.

Tonight, shop for food and wine, clean house, make tomato confit.

Tomorrow, set up for Vinho Verde! party, go for a quick run, finish making food, finish assembling playlist, host party, hope people come, if not, drink a lot of wine and eat a lot of food by self.

Sunday, catch launch to friend's boat at 10 to assist him in racing at the Smuttynose regatta. Alternatively (and about equally likely): sleep in, clean up from party, go to beach, wish weekend had 3rd day.

(Bunnysignal was a flop, BTW. Not nearly enough light output by a factor of 10. New scheme for world domination is in the works.)

Recovering from this past long weekend and week that included out-of-town houseguest (with a penchant for getting lost and making panicky calls to me at work), walking around the whole city every day after work, driving four-five hours to Ottawa and cramming as much adventure as we could handle into two days there (including going to a skanky ass strip club in the boonies outside of Ottawa), going on a game show, dealing with finding a new roommate...etc.

I'm also going on a date with a boy tomorrow. If I wasn't so hard up, I'd cancel and sleep instead.

I get to go to work tomorrow morning, the start of my 4 days on. Normally I would have had 4 days off, but I got off work Wednesday morning after working two extra nights. Not my normal thing, but man, the money is hard to turn down sometimes.

Today, a water park with most of the kids and the hubby.
Tomorrow, yard work, regular cleaning and laundry, and maybe something just for us two.
Sunday, my birthday party at my best friend's house (inground pool!)
Monday, go back to work after my almost two weeks vacation, to a new store. Sigh.

Oh.... tomorrow we're getting the Burning Man crew together to organize our communal gear for packing. We take everything out there in big bins each year, but it has a tendency to get scrambled (not to mention covered in dust). One of the things we always need to do is take everything out, hose it off, and reorganize it.

We also store everything in a shed which is infested with black widows, so the "great unpack" is a good idea regardless. It gives the bitchez a chance to crawl out of the camping chairs and back into the grass.

Sunday I'm going bowling with my family.
