For those of you who like Tove Jansson's Moomintroll series, the first of four collections (see the first entry) are going to be (re)published by Drawn & Quarterly.→[More:] They're a "collection of the Moomin comic strips which Tove wrote for the London Evening News between 1954 and 1960." This Publisher's Weekly link has a three-panel excerpt. The first one comes out October 17, 2006. (Amazon link) Something to look forward to!

And I didn't know that Tove Jansson wrote any comic strips herself. I only knew about the ones written and drawn by his brother Lars.
