I had a Nigerian friend in college who called me "sugarstick." When I asked what he was on about, he told me, "You got a sugarstick, right? And you're looking for a honeypot, right? So I call you sugarstick, man!"

Now I know, I should have told him that, while a honeypot would do just fine, I was really looking for a sparklebottom.

Sounds like an early 70's Redford-Newman vehicle:

The Adventures of Sugarstick and Sparklebottom
