greasemonkey script or something that can do this? →[More:]

It would be nice if on sites (this one for instance) I could do something similar to the favorites on Metafilter. Obviously it would not actually be a page on the site itself, but any suggestions that are more friendly than simply bookmarking posts you like would be appreciated.

Greasmonkey would have a bit of trouble with this, as unmodified greasemonkey can't save anything to your disk. It could add bookmarks though.

A Firefox extension could do whatever.

Yeah, see I know nothing about this stuff. I'll search for extensions. If anybody has a reccomendation, let me know.

I'm going to guess there's not an existing extension to do this; you'd have to write your own. (I've considered writing one for metachat, but after what happened on metafilter, I can't be arsed.)
