Is it Dorsey? I prefer WiaCM or Ya Ya myself. RYP has always really grated on my nerves for some reason. Then again, the other two do not catch the mood you seem to be going for. *shrug*

Those other two songs are great, but RYP is such a mover, man. The Jive Five song is a gem too.

"Ya Ya" is a fave, but for my money Lee Dorsey's shining moment is "Get Out of My Life Woman". That slow, sexy groove can't be beat.

Good call, slack, the drums on 'Get Out My Life..' deserve a Nobel Prize, in physics. But 'Ride Your Pony,' does something to me. But really, is there any such thing as a bad Lee Dorsey song?
