That hurts just to think about. Not that such a thing could ever happen to me, of course.

Either the slats were pretty far apart, or it must've been really cold.

Also, if he was nekkid, where did he keep his phone?*

* Ignoring the obvious, "next to his chair."

From the Fark thread:

Oh. And Submitter now knows the true meaning behind the song Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay.

He should've just asked for a glass of water. "Lots of ice, please."

after he called beach maintenance services ... they sent a member of staff to cut the deck chair in half.

What a waste of a perfectly good chair. Couldn't they have just hosed him down with cold water until he popped out?

I don't know how you guys walk around with those things.

I guess it's like walking around with two lumps on your chest. You'd think that boobies'd get in the way or something, but if you've had them for most of your life, you just get used to it, ya know?
(well, except for crossing your legs too fast. eep! you don't get used to that. nope.)

Most people seem to have missed the fact that JanetLand was quoting from the Seinfeld episode referenced by Mike in the post right above hers.

No soup for you!

Oh -- so off-topic, but so related to the meandering conversation (from 'shrinkage' to 'soup') of this thread --
