They just need to train the cat to use the toilet like some people have been able to and they've engineered the almost perfect housecat.

Almost perfect. The perfect housecat would bring home fresh porterhouse steaks and know how to work a BBQ.

I love it.

One of my cats figured out a while ago which button to step on to turn on my printer and to 'test print' a page. Added fun -- shred that piece of paper to tiny shreds.

Cats are great! I did have a cat actually use the toilet once, only once, without being trained. I was so shocked, at first I forgot to praise him. He never did it again, though he will race me in to the bathroom if I'm heading that way.

My cat learned how to jump up the wall and turn the switch to the ceiling fan on.

Then he just sits on the bed, spinning his head around, watching the ceiling fan go around.

I'd say he was smart, but then again... he's watching a ceiling fan for hours.
