Music was big in my house, and my mom was an extremely groovy person so I grew up listening to all kinds of crazy stuff. It's (soul makossa) one of my favorite songs now, but I remember being embarrassed by my parent's crazy music library as a kid, which of course was always blasted for the whole neighborhood to hear...
Except for this one time, when only my dad could hear the music...
this girl from down the street told me she couldn't play at my house anymore because she said someone saw my Dad smoking a doobie on the front deck, if that wasn't bad enough, she said he was wearing nothing but a pair of cowboy boots and the stereo headphones.
