You can't turn down Equus. I think Macauley Culkin did Equus. Tom Hulce did I know. It's a starring role in a great classic play. He may. . .ah. . .flop, of course, but he's got to take the risk.
You know, I saw Equus, and was not all that impressed. Yes, there were naked people on stage. It seems like it must've been big when it came out; sensational, and full of the sort of pop psychology that had become a staple by the 80s.
A friend that I saw the show with wrapped the sheet music to the doublemint gum jingle into my Christmas gift that year, hee hee.
