Thank you, anon bunny! I got a birthday surprise in the mail today... a copy of The Stranger and Heart of Darkness off my amazon wish list!

And I have your real name from the invoice, but can't match it to an online name!

But thank you thank you thank you! I haven't read Heart of Darkness since I went through my Orson Welles phase in high school (what? doesn't everyone go through that?), and The Stranger is one that I've been meaning to read forever!

I can't wait to get started!!

BoringPostcards... I did! I had it going on my mp3 player as I read!
And then I got nervous it was too loud, and the Middle Eastern guy who runs the place would hear the lyrics and get the wrong idea... I'm so paranoid!

She forgot until I called two days after to tell her about what my roommate got me. (aka to see if she realized she forgot... she pretended she hadn't, but the card was postmarked the next morning).
