EconoSize Ask Mecha Family Pack ...a two part question. 1)I'm thinking about going to Iceland, Britain and Ireland in December/January. Is it going to be so utterly cold that I'll go nuts, or might it be an awesome time to go? and 2) Anyone know how to save iTunes videos on a Windows XP system (seems there's stuff out there for Mac users). As always, much love and respect in advance.
Iceland might be, but Britain is not that cold at all in the winter...usually not even freezing (except for Scotland i think)

Oh, potential trip itinerary: 2 nights in Reykjavik, 4 nights in London (with a hopeful jaunt to Glastonbury), and 2 nights in Cork. Is this nuts?

It's a good kind of nuts!

Email grapefruitmoon . . . I think she used to live in Iceland.

The quickness of each jaunt seems a little crazy, yeah. Good ventures to you.

Isn't there some huge music festival that takes place in Iceland in the dead of winter? I'd love to do that sometime.

Britain and Ireland aren't usually too bad in the winter - we might have a couple of weeks when the temp is below freezing (and it's a bit unpredictable when these weeks might be) but more usual weather is grey, damp and rainy with temperatures above freezing.

My first (and only, so far) trip to NYC was in January 2004... brrrr.....
