Mother Nature is cool. →[More:]
So I had returned from my nightly walk and was standing at the front of my yard. Last I checked it was 34 degrees Celsius and 65 % humidity. The air was dead calm. About a 500 metres north there was a flash of light and a blast of thunder that shook the ground and set off car alarms. I could hear the rain moving south from the Detroit river toward me and I began covering the 100 or so feet to the covered porch behind my garage. Before I got there the rain hit and the wind was strong enough to knock over the taller potted plants.
Nature always reminds us she is in charge.
So I came in and poured a scotch and toasted Paul Mazursky and John Cassavetes.
