"Hi, this is Steve from the Downtown Nordstrom Rack Store. I'm just calling to remind you of our New Arrivals Event going on Tuesday, July 18th, from 8am to 9pm, where you can save 50-75 percent on all our men's and women's apparel. We'd love to see you there!"

I said the above nearly 1,000 times from 9am -5pm today.

I feel your pain, LT.

A friend of mine worked at the downtown Nordstrom this past weekend, during their annual sale.

His job consisted of picking up the tissue paper that is in new shoes and the little footies you use when trying on shoes without socks.

For three days.

I'd rather Specklet's friend's job than LT's. I went through four days training in cold-calling (for the local cable company) and bailed when it went live. I had a wee bit of a break-down (sat up all night crying) whilst working up to telling the mister I couldn't do it.

Okay, enough sharing.
