Gold Bond lotion: Smells good? Or smells mediciney/bad? I vote good, but I know at least one who votes bad. Am I at risk of being thought of as funny-smelling?

And if you want to know why it's an issue...

I use Gold Bond foot powder and I love the way it makes my toesies smell.

I use gold bond powder to avoid chafing. The mentholated scent fades.

Does the body lotion smell just as strong as the anti-itch cream? That stuff smells strongly of medicine, but it does fade.

Oh, I was sure you were talking about this thread. My landlady wears that stuff and she's 74. I don't think it's a bad smell per se, but I have an old lady association with it.

Mediciney, but fades. So slightly risky. Thanks!

And, uh, thanks q.
