Yaaaay! You must be so relieved. How did it go?

It went well enough. I was forced into doing it over the phone--my boss was at his alternative office in uptown today (as opposed to Tribeca, where I am) and was in meetings most of the day. When I finally got a hold of him, he told me that he was leaving in 20 minutes for his summer house. I couldn't wait for Monday, so I just told him.

He took it pretty well. But we had to put off the discussion of when my last day will be. He's going to be pissed when I tell him I'll only work next week (and half-assedly at that). This bridge is already burnt, so not much to lose on that front.
