For Miko (or anyone else) →[More:]In stuffing my ipod last night (30gigs is a lot of music, possibly more than I own on CD at present) I came across "The Lucky One" by a Seattle artist by name of Christy McWilson. I just read a blurb about here being a "roots-rock Sylvia Plath." She also has a voice usually associated with a nice wet dream.

Anyway Miko, thought of you and your quest for tunes to cover. If I were a female alto, I could do worse with this one.

Well I will fix it and get it to you some way. It seems to be unfixable here at work since the CD is at home.

Thanks! Here's another "Lucky One", a different song, by Allison Krauss. Pretty, though not as twangy as I'd like her to be... Like here for example. So nice.

Hey, cool! She sounds like an equal blend of Loretta Lynn and Joan Baez. Amazing. And this song is *exactly* in my range as Bing Crosby said "It sits real well for ya!" -- good call, Dan! Thanks.
