Kind of hard to believe that as someone "in the biz", he doesn't know who Vince Vaughn is. Not like he's a great actor or anything, but he does do some comedy and has been in some big movies.

Chevy Chase is washed up. Of course he knows who Vince Vaughn is. This more of a desperate attempt at getting publicity than anything.

I loved the old Chevy Chase movies. But he pretty much was dead to me after his talk show.

I have heard that at one point, post-rehab and as his career began to tank, Chevy turned to Richard Pryor (who was also drug-free) and asked him, "When does it come back?" Pryor replied, matter-of-factly, "It doesn't."

That story makes me sad. And it makes me want to send Chevy some blow so I can once again experience the man who was born to love me, was born to lick my face, was born to rub me--but I was born to rub him first.

The funny thing is that I'm old enough to remember when Chevy Chase was actually funny and not just an ass.

Like the story I heard about Bob Saget "offering" to let a stranger finger his newborn daughter for a buck, its just not funny to use your kids as comedy props or punchlines.
