She may not answer for a bit since she's currently hurtling down the Grand Central Parkway because she forgot to get her CT drivers liscense renewed (insurance thing, long story), but we'll be meeting for dinner and drinks in the East Village later (not enough people for the bowling thing). But I know she'll appreciate the wishes.
Jon, you'd probably like the bar Donovan's Reef in Sea Bright, and also the Cove in Sea Bright. Just south of Sandy Hook.
Also, if you get tired of beaching it, you might enjoy hanging in Red Bank, my old hometown, just to the west. It's gone gentrified here and there but I can especially recommend the Dublin House pub.
In 1979, THE PIPS reocorded and album on Casablanca Records (home of Kiss and The Village People) called "At Last" without Gladys Knight.
Why'd they do do it? Who knows?!
All I know is that The Pips without Gladys is like
