Smithsonian museums are only open 10am to 5:30pm. I stop working at about 5pm.

hugh: we LOVE tapas! Best part is we agreed we wouldn't have any for at least a month after we returned from Spain, and that month has passed! It's tapas time!

dano: looks like that's tomorrow. Tonight's activity is some sort of seminar on the Iraqi peace plan.

Tonight is the last night of Alchemy at Nation in Southeast. I'll be there! Nation is closing, so tomorrow is the last Buzz and Saturday is the last Velvet (gay night, the link seems to suck).

Call your friends over, get drunk and play board/card games! Get some friends to go out to play pool, or karaoke, or bowling. Go see a movie, or try to find a local rep cinema that shows revivals of cool old flicks. Pick up your local alternative weekly paper(s) and read the listings - there could be book readings, plays, gallery openings, comedy shows, etc.

I love tacos: I read today that the tickets through ticketbastard are $40 a pop! Alchemy sold out at Strangeland Records, though they say they have plenty of tickets at the door. Luckily I bought mine last week. :)
