I forgot my iPod today. My iPod gets me through the day. This isn't the first time, so I set up a daily Google Calendar reminder to pop into my inbox in the morning. Does that help? No, I get it everyday, so I've started to delete it without even mentally processing what it means.
On my way in, I figured, well, that's okay - I have headphones at my desk and some music on the work PC. But I just sat down and realized my iPod headphones broke so I've been using my work headphones and they are at home too, wrapped around the iPod.
Wow, someone should just kill you now and put you out of your misery. But wait! You can access MeCha now, so we, collectively, will figure out some way to save you.
Something is being circular-sawed here in the office and drowning out even "Man On The Silver Mountain" at peak volume on the iPod. Also, for the first time in half a decade, I blow-dried my hair this morning. I think it came out kinda funny.
Hey, mike9322, I forgot to mention in your traumatic thread yesterday that you're the man for going there and helping her and, well, being the man. So here goes: you're the man.
Also, I just got off the phone with my mother. I called to wish my baby sister, born 15 years after me, a happy 20th birthday. I'm gonna go look in the yellow pages under 'old age homes.'
I am disturbed by how many "the man"s there seem to be. Shouldn't there be only one "the man"? Or maybe it's like a frame rate thing where each of us is "the man" for picoseconds at a time, but it switches so quickly that each of us individually appears to be "the man" at all times?
