Request for help from people who either work in London or know people who do My boyfriend is currently rather despondent. Having completed his second year at university and returned home to London for the summer, he had been hoping to get a job, earn some money and experience. However, the employers of London haven't exactly been very helpful.

So, I turn to you, helpful random peoples of the internet. Do you work in London, or know someone who does? Do you need a friendly and helpful 20-year-old to come and file stuff, make tea or be a general dogsbody for a few weeks for anything above minimum wage? If so, I have the man for you. CV etc is available - email lottieyoung@gmail.com. Thankyou very much.

P.S Yes I know this is a bit pimpish.
I work in Docklands, two stops down from Canary Wharf, in a big organisation. I'll ask HR when I'm in the office on Monday if they need anyone to do some grunt work. We always have a ton of paper to be archived. Email me his CV. See profile for email.

what do you do, Sass?

amberglow: He's studying maths at Bristol uni and has excellent all-round IT skills, but will pretty much do anything. Also, he's tried every job website (and the guardian) and nothing has come of it, hence this slightly desperate attempt.

ahh...did he ask his professors and at the department office? He needs to work every contact he has--even thru parents/relatives, etc. Most small businesses need someone part-time/on call for it stuff, and most work-at-home people too. Time to get creative--flyers locally, and going to local orgs and stuff.
