Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) explains why he voted against the net neutrality amendment and gives an amazing primer on how the internet works.

"I just the other day got, an internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday and I just got it yesterday. Why? Because it got tangled up with all these things going on the internet commercially....[The internet is] not a truck. It's a series of tubes."
That sounds amazingly like someone who has been coached on what to say, and only grasped about 25% of it.

he's like 274 years old, and he's in charge of determining our govt's policy----appalling.

*sends this internet down a tube, hoping it won't be backed up in a horse-and-buggy jam on the way because of rightwing republicans downloading santorum man-on-dog porn*

Ted Stevens is a corrupt old hack who oversaw the transfer of most of the Alaskan fisheries to Japanese war criminals through the good offices of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, a yakuza money-launderer disguised as a religious kook. In short, Stevens is a traitor and and out-front fascist.
