Barely made it inside with the BBQ burgers and weiners and turned off the grill before the little thunderstorm made it here. We need the rain, so it's all good. As long as the big fireworks display is not rained out tonight at Baum Stadium, I'll have pics later!

Happy 4th day of July to ya whether it's a holiday for ya or not.

It fizzled out very very fast. An hour later you could not tell it had rained at all. heh.

Also the breeze shifted out of the south and so the big fireworks display I went to see was hidden by smoke. Oh well.

My apartment building ot struck by lightning a couple days ago. First time for me. Crack-boom-sizzle kind of sound, but no damage.

Oh, man - after a sweltering couple of weeks here, this week has been fabulous: rainy and chilly Monday, and sunny and cool since then. Woowoo! This morning is what the weather in heaven feels like. I know I'll be back to misery soon enough, but this is sweet.

We've had a couple of days here where the thunderstorms occur at night. The one night the wind suddenly kicked up fiercely, and the line of thunderheads was so defined! The lightning went up, down, and across the sky. Last night, same thing only not as severe. I love a good storm.
