I was discussing this with a girlfriend last night, after she asked me about being asked to go dutch on a first date- yea, we might offer to go dutch on the first date, but if the boy does anything other than pay, it's a serious turnoff. ::shrug::

I love that sentence, deadcowdan, because it's "PC" to say that the asker always pays. It's like a little joke- oh, look, the Urban Etiquette handbook is going to say what everyone else says, wait, wait, but NO, they say what is actually true. High-lar-E-ous.
