Submitted without comment Other than to say [More:] that I'm reading The Man in the High Castle at present, so this was of interest to me, from a historical perspective.

Oh, and there's no way those tiny propellors could lift that huge plane.

Oh, and the plane would have buckled under the force that Supes was applying to the nose of the craft. Heck, it's just reinforced aluminum foil to a being with his strength.

I read every PKD i could get my hands on in Jr. High. The Man In The High Castle was the one I remember not getting at all. Time for a re-read. Thanks Eideteker. I always like to plug Valis as my current favorite.

I think that essay will clarify a few things. Also, watch Waking Life (the final scene, particularly). I understand PKD a bit better now.

I actually found the essay that Linklater is talking about online. It's probably still up if you search for it.
