EconoPost: 1)How fast can you type?, 2) I lost my wallet last night after my steamy encounter (had $100 cash in it), and 3) a Coke/Mentos rocket.
Hold the phone. As soon as I posted this, the club I lost it at called to report it found, with all but the $. C'est la vie, but thank Jehosephat I don't have to go through all the drudgery of replacing everything in it.
Just in case, though, you should call the credit card companies and get new cards (ie., if they were missing from the wallet, you'd cancel them immediately - if someone copies down the cc info and your ID info and returns the cards, there's going to be a bigger window to do nefarious things before the cc's cancelled).
44 WPM here. Ha. I've probably gotten faster over the years.
So, just went an got my wallet. What a weird mixed blessing, y'know? No cash, but they could've destroyed my bank account with the debit card, or stolen my identity with my SSN. The cash came from a wedding I'd performed that day, and I was quite thrilled at the time not to get a check. Had I gotten a check, I probably would'nt have gone to the club and thus wouldn't have gotten into the extended make-out session, which was quite pleasurable, as you can imagine. I was also pleased with the pay out as I got stiffed for the last wedding I'd done (by my family, no less). It's a mixed bag of no gain, no loss, and making for damn sure that my pocket is buttoned whilst tongue jousting amid drag queens and trance tramps.
58.9 wpm
260 cpm
with four mistakes and a keyboard that is missing p and g keys and I have to press really hard to get them to work. Oh, and I am lying in bed. What, do you mean you don't care?!
44, moonbird?! And I thought I type fast! I am very impressed. Humbled.
Third time: 3 mistakes, 94 wpm. The other two were slower because of the grammatical errors in the text. I kept typing "cannot" rather than "can not", inserting commas where commas ought to have been, etc.
