I am sad to see England leave like this. The players were all great in the game and I do not understand why people accuse Eriksson for the setup (in this game at least). It is not his fault that Rooney is a looney. Neither is his fault that they cannot shoot penalty kicks. England came in as an underdog really, heavily criticized in their own country who did not seem to believe they'll go that far even. They never managed to gain confidence in the game. Too bad for England. Sigh. Big heavy sigh.

On the other hand, there is some sort of divine justice in all this, because Portugal does not (I repeat: NOT) deserve to be in the semifinals.
