On a mac you can make a CD/DVD image from bin/cue files with Toast. Don't have Toast? You can try this (I haven't since I have Toast, but it is free).

The .bin file is the binary (all the information). The .cue file contains... cues... for the the writer.

With certain programs you don't need the .cue file.

what about something to fake it to the hd, instead of actually burning the media?

VLC will play it anyway, i think...it's what i use

(incidentally, Lemony Snicket is a really good movie--who knew?)

Oh, yeah. VLC. Is there a media format it can't play? [except WMV10 files that suck anyway].

is it a PS2 game? as others have said, you burn it very easily, choose the "disc image" function
