i know some of the country's flooded, but i have to praise the rain finally getting here--it's like 20 degrees cooler already.

But amberglow, it has been raining since forever. I saw a dude with beard walk by with two of every animal. We sent the kid to sleepaway camp for the first time. I'm really hoping she's not in some kind of mud freakout in the catskills.

Yes, that was my most senseless comment ever, p'raps. It has been humid and muggy and shitty and somehow rainy as well. I went outside a few minutes ago to walk the dog and it was cool and lovely.

nah... this weather always sucks the life out of me every year, but this seems early for so muggy (i don't breath well the heavier the air gets)

I sorta get the breathing thing, what I do get in spades is the giant northern european stock mucksweat and all over general discomfort, I question my sanity every day that I remain in New York.

me too--with prickly heat and now a zit from all the sweating--i actually had to find the Clearasil this am...every summer i say i'm moving to Alaska (but that's melting anyway, so probably is just as hot nowadays)
