Kraftwerk fans: own a piece of music history→[More:]Actually, I can't tell from the description if Kraftwerk owned THIS particular device, or just one like it. If anybody can read German here, maybe the German description is clearer.

A: This is the one and only prototype. It was a contract work for Kraftwerk. Nobody else used this actual item. It is no other Vocoder of this kind excisting. Hope this answers your question, best regards, Peter
How effin' cool would it be to own this? Wow, a real slice of history. This thing played a part in changing music, in changing the world.
I believe the Vocoder has been doing inspirational lectures, some commercial work, and if I'm not mistaken was involved in a quick string of straight-to-video movies with Mario Van Peebles.
