Freaking adorable. In the beginning I got the distinct impression that the kitten was sizing the chicken up for future "endeavors", by seeing how easy it was to knock over, and how many times it would take a hit before it would fight back. But then they slept together and I melted.

Or maybe the kitten was just protecting its interests...

You said it, deborah. Somehow that hen started getting to know that kitten at a very young age, and so it continued. Very cute!
