Tips for a good time: 1. Arrive early for the very limited parking, and a decent place to sit, stand, dance if you won't be spending all day at the fair. 2. If you spend all day, you may get your hand stamped and have an "open door ticket", meaning you can come and go from the fair as you please all day. 3. Once the sun goes down, the temperature DROPS big time!!! Bring a sweater or something, you may think I sound like a "NAG", but I have frozen my ass off at night on more than one occasion here in Marin. Leave the sweater in the car, get your hand stamped at the gate, when you get cold, run to the car and get said sweater, blanket, black leather jacket just like JFJ's, or what have you.....

Getoffmylawn, I'd love to bum around the fair, but I'm unlikely to ride the rides. I love 'em, but my ailing back do not.

Anyone who wants to go but can't because of a vehicular deficiency, speak up. Maybe we can work something out.

Would someone please take the taz-doll with them? The one that allows me to vicariously enjoy good times from 7,000 miles away? And this time, please don't dress me in the unitard and clown nose.

Taz, the only other outfit that's clean is the Lederhosen and legwarmer combo. Is that okay?
