Eide, after our marathon IRC session I went to bed and woke up at the allotted time--5 minutes after my flight was due to leave. I leapt out of bed with a stream of curses that would embarrass the most experienced sailor (or even Divine_Wino), and called the airline to discover...that my plan had been grounded and the flight they put me on didn't leave for another 6 hours! I kissed the woman over the phone (after asking permission, of course).

Then I discovered that the stupidly expensive makeup that I thought I left in Seattle (I don't wear it much so it took weeks for me to discover it missing) was actually hanging on my bathroom door handle the whole time.

For some reason, the gods like me today. I'm not asking questions.

er...my freudian slip was showing there. It was my plane that was grounded, not my plan.

Elizard! I was at the roller derby last night.

"It's midnight, and we should go home, cos you've got to get up early," I said. Nope.
"Ok, now it's 2AM and we should really go, cos, ya know, you don't want to miss your flight," says me. Nope.
"k so I know we're actually going home, and it's 4:10, so when you get home you'd better crash ASAP, or else." Nope.
Some girls are very very lucky. and probably hung over.
