Finally, I got a post right!

According to the article, it wasn't drunk, it was on acid.

I prefer to think it was just high on life.

Man, I'm so bummed that the article mentioned the Birds incident in NoCal, because I was all ready to pull it out of the trivia box that I keep next to the computer. Sigh.

I will tell you that some of the movie was filmed in Bodega Bay, and some of it was filmed in Bodega -- inland about ten miles or so. The schoolhouse and a few other buildings in the movie are nowhere near the water. So that's kind of interesting. I guess.

At least it wasn't an albatross.

Speaking of the "Birds". Years ago I had an aunt go to see that film in a theater near the beach in Long Branch, New Jersey. The seagulls were used to people on the boardwalk feeding them fries and such, and so swooped down towards the exiting movie-goers. My aunt said she and several others screamed and fled in all directions. I probably would have laughed my ass off seeing that.
