I spent a couple weeks one summer sorting through Doll Reader's old, extremely disorganized, paper files pulling articles and pictures for a retrospective edition they were preparing. I never wanted (and you can make that present tense, actually) to see another creepy porcelain face staring back at me again.

Same goes for "Teddy Bear and Friends" (whose files were in the same place). Equally vile in any exposure exceeding miniscule.

Finding a bouquet of flowers in the right scale is cause for joy. A small charm to be remade into a necklace or the perfect dress from an antique doll that just happens to fit can precipitate an adrenalin rush. Everything must be perfect.

this is like one-stop shopping for one of my most pressing freak-outs: porcelain dolls. Totally creeps me the fuck out.
