The Grassroots Festival Of Music and Dance This is where we (LITTE EGYPT) will be performing on July, 22nd at 1:30pm.
It's our 5th anniversary show at this unbelievable Woodstock-like festival that runs from July 20th-23rd.
Go check it out just for the ambiance if anything! You won't be sorry.
Awesome, Joe! I'll start mobilizing the troops to try and make it up there.

You know that so long as I can swing admission ($'s tight atm) I'll be there. It's only about 20 min from here!

If anyone comes up for the festival, I call Ithaca Meetup.

Big bonus! I missed you in NYC last time, so Ithaca meetup indeed. I hear it's gorges up there.

It's off the hook up there man!
We actually have more fun just chillin' and gettin' to know people.

Me myself? I'm quite fond of the Native American presence there. I'm also really good friends with the Iroquais. They make GREAT frybread!

Oh, my GOD! What a performer list! I can't believe I've never heard of this festival. It looks incredibly aweseome and righteoously spirited.

Hey, the Can Kickers are playing. They're friends of mine from the old-time session in Mystic, CT. If you meet 'em, say hi for me!

Man, the Lonesome Sisters too. This festival is unbelievable. Can't this year (cousin's wedding that weekend), but sounds like a plan for next year.

I just really dig that they're combining kinds of music that are usually seen as disparate niches, but actually all arise from the same counterhegemonic expressive spirit.
