Dance. Laugh. Sing. You can do no wrong. Life is transitory. Enjoy your travails, relish your tribulations. No need to scoff or disdain your anxieties, but rather, learn from them. Turn them around, find the pain, and learn to love it. Give it a hug. Go towards the discomfort.

Smile. Can you remember the last time you smiled, how you got there, and the way back? Do you find your smiles with a map, or do you just know the way? Or do they find you? Do they ever fall about you like the very raindrops?

If the universe is smiling at you, and you don't smile back, is that rude? And is the universe smiling at all times?

Smile: Yesterday I was coming home from work on the DLR and there was a little girl, aged probably 18 months or 2 years, sitting in her buggy. She was blonde and cute, like a Mabel Lucie Attwell baby.

I gave her a little wave as I sat down, and in return I got the most beautiful smile from her, completely spontaneous and natural, and I smiled back to her.

It was a beautiful moment.

Then people crowded onto the train and she was no longer in my sightline.
