Love the Moutain Goats. Recently saw John & Peter on their west coast tour. They played two tracks that'll be on the next album, both of which sounded like Tallahassee and The Sunset Tree's bastard red-headed step-child.

There are (I believe) two soundboards up on archive.org, both of which capture a ton of older material in higher fidelity than John has ever released. It's great to hear songs like The Best Ever Death Metal Band In Denton with the sing along "Hail Satan" in crisp clean stereo.
