The first big surprise of the tournament. A great result for African football.

The Azzuri are about to kick off against the USA. It should be a pushover for Italy, but who knows after the Ghana result.

The Italians usually have the best shirts, but the ones they're wearing this year look as if they've got built-in sweat stains. Nasty.

Best game of the tournament so far, not necessarily in terms of technical skills, but for showing all the excitement of a really good, competitive game of football.

I actually like Italy in this Mundial. Very offensive! (in the good way of course)

But I root for US in this one. I would really like US to progress a lot further. But they just are not confident, enough.

And after the Czech loss, what can I say? This is a very bitter-sweet World Cup. I am not sure which team I like anymore!

I always root against the Italians because I think they play boring, defensive football. But this tournament they have been playing a very attractive game. I'm quite impressed with them.

Also, it's nice that there is at least one major sport where the U.S. doesn't dominate.

1-1 is a pretty good result for the U.S. It means they're in the round of 16 if they can beat Ghana and Italy beats the Czechs.

I enjoyed watching the Ghana team play. Great teamwork, and the joy in their body language after that second goal was visible.

Yeah, teams like that deserve some Rah Rah Rah!
I love the Italians because they cheat (some say), fake injuries and cry like babies when they loose. Awwww!
