weretable: food aggression is common. You can either accept it (it's not really a big deal), or work really hard to train it out of her. Basically, you screw with her while she's eating, and if she snaps at you, you do whatever you would do ordinarily when she misbehaves (i.e. say "no" and put her in her crate). Repeat until she stops showing signs of aggression.

i have gotten into the habit of putting her food bowl up until i feed her, at least that way she doesn't snap at me when i walk by and it is EMPTY.

Metachat is one big playground where you can be as silly as you like, but there are some places we're not willing to let it go. It will not be a proving ground for attacks on other sites.

Ah, makes more sense in context. Without the bucket o' cocks, it looked much more...grumpy.
