Friendships are more important than dignity. Unrelated: Why not take the drum sounds from the previously recorded "Night Fever" and use them to create the drum track for "Stayin' Alive"?

I love the reminder that Disco is black music. I think people forget that. Sure a lot of it sucked, but much of it was quite inspired and funkay.
2¢ - I hate it when people say white folks shouldn't touch black music, or shouldn't mingle with other cultures' music. They just don't get it. Death to purists.

The elementary school behind my house is holding their 6th Grade graduation right this very minute. Instead of Pomp & Circumstance, the wee ones march out to Kool & the Gang's "Celebration."

I say this because the song seems appropriate to the thread, but also so everyone will have the song stuck in their heads for the rest of the day like I will. Out of sympathy, if nothing else.
