As another girl who shaved her head once (nevaaarrr again. I have a pointy head.) I say go all barbershop on it! Snip Snip! With all that hair you can pick any style!
Leave it. . . only because my hair is about that long and I am trying to decide whether to get it cut or not, but the last haircut I got (after my original hair cutter moved to Couer d' Aline), was such a disaster that I just grew it out by default.
I vote cut it, because it looks like it's thinning.
I have to disagree with specklet this once. Jake & co. use too much product. That kind of quantity should be reserved for pompadours. And that deliberate bedhead looks like a guy's ASPIRING to annoying frat boy-ism.
Of course, I have nothing productive to suggest instead.
I'd vote for cut it, though I like long hair. But not too short or overstyled-yeah, that'll narrow it down some! Shorter will bring out your eyes, a very nice feature.
Golly, now I am undecided and mightily embarassed. Just 'cause that's how I am. Anything like "Jake" would be ludicrously, unimagineably out of character, I'm afraid.
Well, what about the link at "modern"? You wouldn't have to make it all poseur bed-head-y, just kind of long in front and short in back. Tousle-y for easy mainenance.
Keep it while you still have it. There will be plenty of time to have short hair when it starts to recede. I used to have my hair down past my shoulders but now that I only have half a head of hair, I know it needs trimming the minute it needs brushing. If I had a full head of hair, it would be long.
I tried to get a reading on this from match.com by searching respectively for those who listed long hair as a turn off and a turn on. Turn off won by a wide margin.
Maybe you should transition through a mullet, and someone will make you their "project," you know like if I could only fix that one thing about him he would be perfect.
I did hear one girl say she liked guys with beautiful long hair because it showed good genes, then she could go out with them and ask them to cut it off to see if they were serious about her.
Another vote for cut. It's a great color, you have a great face, but the cut's not really doing much for either of them. It just looks like a lot of blond hair, if that makes any sense.
In an effort to help you decide, and also to embarrass you further, I've done a megaquicky shop job to give you an idea. Sorry about any ear bits and shoulder parts I accidentally amputated. Hope it's not too painful.
