Metafilter Writers Group. I keep forgetting to check in here. There is a theme set for this week "Start your story with a word picked at random from the dictionary". Deadline is Friday, so I should have posted this earlier... but, it's only 200-500 words, so if you're in the mood why not give it a shot? (And if you do it, of course give us a linky!)

My word is "disgruntled", which is not bad at all, considering I committed myself to using whatever word I blindly picked out, no matter how weird or awkward. I was sort of expecting a real challenge... but then, I got this really easy one.

So you could say I'm kinda disgruntled.
