So GET THIS Update on the anal roommate drama→[More:] The fight with the roommate had blown over, but I still decided to find my own place and move out on July 1st. A few days after I found one (before I told her I was leaving), AR announced she, too, was moving out to find a two-bedroom with a friend. Now that she knows I'm leaving, her friend is going to move in here!

I'm totally excited about my new place, and think living alone will be great, but is it wrong that I still feel a little pushed out of my own home?

Well, she's gotta find a replacement for you, and if she was going to move with this third party anyway, why wouldn't she just stay and save herself the hassle of moving? Sorry, sweets, seems logical to me.

You can still be all pissed that she's so anal as to make your homelife miserable, though.

You're lucky she even told you. One of my roommates moved out over a week ago, and no one bothered to inform me that my rent will go up $150 as a result.

If the fight is ever back on, here's a little suggestion: If the place has hollow core doors, open up the top of one, preferably a door that doesn't get used every day, and lower an egg or two in there with string. That way, once you're safely out of the way, the egg will get cracked, and nobody will ever find the source of the stench.

Also, my last roomate, the infamous hippie, still hasn't paid the parking tickets he acquired while driving the car I was kind enough to let him borrow. Fucking hippie!

Thank you, you are all right. I wasn't going to say anthing about it- I told her it was a great idea (because it is! guaranteed new roommmate = guaranteed deposit money back in my pocket)- but there's always that little voice, ya know?
