Asia Carrera recently lost her husband in a car accident. She's currently pregnant with their second child. She writes about it in her bulletin. It's pretty fucking sad too.
Poor woman. I know what she's going through, the shock and grief of a sudden death of a soulmate is the worst thing imaginable.

But I found the 'send me money through PayPal to help a poor widow' pretty distasteful.

eh well, she seems like she's pretty desperate and in shock. Not really surprising to me.

I'm very sorry to hear about her husband. And with a baby on the way, too. Heartbreaking.

I didn't. Sounds like her only career was porn. She quit that, she's still pregnant, she has a problem with anxiety and leaving the home, her husband had the only vehicle (it was totalled), her husband was the bread-winnder, they had no insurance, there's one child and another to be born in a month.

Asking for money is completely appropriate.

I learned a long time ago not to pass judgement on what people do while grieving. That's not to say running out and killing someone in that state is acceptable; merely that things that don't seem to fit to outside eyes should be respected as coping mechanisms for one of the loneliest times we can have.

Aw, sad. I've seen much less compelling requests for money online.

Yeah, it's really sad. I relate to the part where she says that she's socially phobic. I hope she gets some money.

Here's her husband's site/blog.

Life sure can hurt sometimes.

Yeah, knee-jerk reaction from me early this morning. I was too harsh on her.

Ugh. How horrible. I've always been a big fan of Asia, and she sounded so happy in her retirement.

Wow, she's had a pretty rough life. I used to read through her website back in the day.

Usually young people don't even have life insurance, not expecting to go at any time, you know.
